Oil Filter with O-ring, Mahle, Boxster (986, 987)

WHAT IT IS:

The Porsche Boxster uses a canister-type oil filter. This is everything you need to replace the filter element within the oil canister.

QUANTITY:

One paper filter element, one rubber gasket O-ring

APPLICATION: 

Boxster/Boxster S 986 1997-2004, Boxster/Boxster S 987 2005-2008

COMMENTS: 

Changing your oil is a real easy way to ensure long vehicle life, especially if you are hard on your car! Oil not only lubricates internal mechanicals, but it carries contaminants away from vital engine parts. We recommend new synthetic oil (15W-50 if you are racing) every 2500 miles, or at the start of the race season. (Oh yeah... the picture shows two elements, but you just get one!)
