Coolant Expansion Tank Cap, OEM Porsche, Boxster (986)

WHAT IT IS:

This is the cap that goes on top of the Coolant Expansion Tank.

QUANTITY:

One "radiator cap." Part #996-106-147-07

APPLICATION: 

Type 986 Boxster 2.5-liter, 2.7-liter 1997-2004

COMMENTS: 

Without this cap in perfect working condition, your cooling system will not maintain pressure. Without pressure, the coolant boils... meaning you spend lots of time in the pits. Cursing. Loudly.
